Bright red with violet highlights in youth, tending towards garnet as refinement sets in. Intense, persistent, aromatic, fruity, with typical rose petal and violet notes in the early years. Evolves to spicy notes with age. Warm on the palate, harmonious, full-bodied and balanced. With a slight tannic component.
