Tasting :
Brilliant, deep ruby red, fruit dominant nose reminiscent of cherry, raspberry, and strawberry, with a hint of bitter almonds. Full, soft structure, pleasant, elegant tannin give the wine length,
finishes with a lingering echo of ripe fruit.
Wine Pairing :
This wine is ideal as an aperitif. Typical Tyrolean dishes like Speck and sausage, but also for lighter meats and soft cheeses.

- Age of vines : 30-70 years
- Type of soil: Clay soil, pebbly limestone, well drained and warm.
- Yield of the vines : 55 hl/ha
- Irrigation : Emergency only
- Harvest : Manual
- Fermentation : Fermentation on the skins at a temperature of 25 °C for 2 weeks.
- Maturation : 10-day extended maceration, malolactic fermentation and six-month aging on lees in cement tanks and large barrels. 20% (8000 litres) in French oak barrels from 6 to 10 years old. Preserved 6 months in bottle before marketing.
