The Viniterra society is located in Lujan de Cuyo, in Mendoza, and was founded in 1997. This area is known as one of the best wine regions in Argentina, as well as the cradle of Argentinean Malbec. Adriano Senetiner a renowned oenologist and personality within the Argentinean winemaking industry, cofounded Viniterra and was Chief Executive Officer of the Nieto and Senetiner Bodega until 1999. He’s been the manager of Viniterra Bodega until 2010 when Cepas Argentinas bought the winery. Adriano Senetiner remains as winemaker consultant.
The Viniterra Bodega Winery strives to produce wines based on the perfect combination of grape variety and soil type. The Viniterra Malbec obtained the gold medal in the ‘Sélections Mondiales 2004 ’, reflecting this winery’s special emphasis on creating quality wines.
