Tre Secoli was born from the merger of two very important wine cooperatives in the Piedmont region: Cantina di Mombaruzzo and Cantina di Ricaldone. Since 1887, entire families have devoted themselves to this wine-growing project, which has become a solid reality thanks to the union of these two Piedmontese wine cooperatives.
Three centuries of generations of winemakers have worked these lands, winemakers with 300 daily stories buried in the rolling hills of Monferrato.
This union, which involves 18 municipalities in the provinces of Asti and Alessandria, has given rise to the largest wine cooperative in Piedmont, covering an area of approximately 1,100 hectares, including 400 hectares of Moscato Bianco, 160 hectares of Brachetto, 300 hectares of Barbera, and, gradually, almost all of the native and international grape varieties of Monferrato, Astigiano, and Alessandrino.
In addition, the conditions have been met for the implementation of modern technologies and continuous research aimed at improving quality, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, resulting in the award of numerous certifications.
Since 2018, the company has become independent by creating a bottling plant for its still, sparkling, and semi-sparkling wines.
The Ricaldone winery is located on a hillside. From its panoramic terraces, it overlooks the wine-growing landscape. Its wines have won numerous awards.
