Miss Harry 2006 de Hewitson - 90 points
A blend of 47%Grenache, 47% Shiraz and 6% Mourvèdre. Dark ruby in colour, it reveals an enticing nose of spice box, mineral, earth notes, cherry and blueberry. Elegant on the palate with loads of spicy red and blue fruits, it has enough silky tannin to blossom for another two years but can be enjoyed now.

Ned & Henry’s 2006 de Hewitson - 91 points
Contains 8% Mourvèdre aged in seasoned oak. The nose emits scents of cedar, underbrush, mineral, pepper, blueberry, and blackberry. Medium to full bodied, it is nicely layered on the palate with plenty of spicy fruit, a smooth texture and enough ripe tannin to evolve for 2-3 years. Drink this well priced Shiraz from 2011 to 2020.

The Mad Hatter 2006 de Hewitson- 92 points
The 2006 Shiraz The Mad Hatter spent 21 months in new French oak. Purple-coloured, it delivers an alluring perfume of pain grillé, black pepper, plum, blueberry and blackberry. Dense and powerful on the palate, this layered Shiraz will continue to unwind over the next 6-8 years and provide prime drinking from 2015 to 2030.
